Doll with red dress and long blonde hair

This is a traditional cloth Waldorf doll, 35cm tall with green eyes, long blonde hair and a hand knitted red dress. She was handmade by me in Hackney.

She is made from all natural materials, cotton tricot skin fabric, cotton embroidery thread, binding string and tubular bandage, the stuffing is British wool, reclaimed from a wool duvet making company in Devon.

Unlike synthetic stuffing, wool will retain the warmth of cuddles, the comforting smell of home and repels moisture.

This is a one of a kind, eco friendly, handmade Waldorf doll. She is kept intentionally simple for open ended, imaginative play.
